Its location was lovely and exceptionally nice, mainly due to work space area. Having a bath was great. The host made our stay relaxing.

The patio was great for sipping my afternoon tea, the free parking saved me from having to walk, and the free WiFi allowed me to Instagram my entire stay. So posh!
Oh, how I despise the fact that towels were actually provided. I much prefer bringing my own damp towels from home.

Quiet atmosphere, lovely location just off the centre of Huddersfield as well as Wakefield and Huddersfield. Location in the middle of the city. Nothing too much trouble.

The place had a sick terrace where we chilled and had a blast. Plus, it was only 7 km away from Galpharm Stadium, so we caught a rad game there. And the Victoria Theatre was a short drive, so we caught a killer gig too. Definitely recommend for a lit time!
The only thing we could've asked for was a better nightlife scene nearby. We wanted to party hard, but the area was more chill.

Thornes Cottage was the perfect getaway for me and my partner. The hosts were amazing, making us feel right at home with personal touches like a welcome sign and delicious muffins. The privacy was brilliant, and the location was great for walking and enjoying the beautiful green scenery. The size of the cottage exceeded our expectations, and it had all the amenities we needed, including Sky TV and broadband. it was a cozy and clean cottage in a lovely location. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.
Although the bedroom was a little cold, it didn't affect our overall enjoyment. Additionally, there were some issues with the toilet not flushing properly, but it didn't significantly impact our stay.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a beautiful cottage in a lovely setting. It was easy to find and had been completely renovated and modernized from its former farm building state. the cottage had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a warm welcome with bread and milk provided. I especially enjoyed the picturesque surroundings and the numerous footpaths nearby. the location was perfect, offering stunning views of the countryside while still being just a short distance from the center of town. Public transportation was also easily accessible with a local bus service running between Wakefield and Huddersfield. Cons: Nothing bad to say 😊.
